1. Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to KinPaw. By accessing or using the KinPaw app and related services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you are below the minimum age required to use the service in your country or region, your parent or legal guardian must read and agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
KinPaw provides features for pet profiles, medication and administration schedules, reminders, care records, inventory, reports, and household care-team collaboration. Specific features may vary by version, region, device, or service plan.
Reminders may be delayed or fail to arrive because of network conditions, device settings, system restrictions, time-zone changes, or third-party service failures. You remain responsible for checking medication labels and veterinary instructions and must not rely on KinPaw as your sole basis for administering medication.
3. Accounts and Security
- You must provide truthful and accurate information and safeguard your email account, device, and verification codes.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you discover unauthorized use.
- You may not transfer, rent, or sell your account, or use automation, fraud, or other methods to bypass service restrictions.
- We may require you to verify your identity again to protect account security.
4. User Content and Care Collaboration
You retain all lawful rights in the content you submit. To provide synchronization, reminders, sharing, exports, and customer support, you grant KinPaw permission to store, process, copy, and display that content to the extent necessary to operate the service.
You must have the right to enter and share the relevant pet, veterinarian, and care information. Members of the same care team may view or modify shared content. Invite only people you trust and manage member permissions promptly. Each member is responsible for actions they take based on shared information.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service for unlawful activities; infringe the rights of others; upload malicious code; disrupt, reverse engineer, or damage the service; access another person's account or data without authorization; or misrepresent KinPaw as a veterinary or medical service.
6. Subscriptions and Paid Services
Some features may require a paid subscription. For purchases made through the Apple App Store, pricing, billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms and your store settings. Deleting your KinPaw account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; you must cancel it separately in your Apple account's subscription settings.
7. Intellectual Property
Except for your user content, KinPaw's software, interfaces, trademarks, graphics, and service materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Unless expressly permitted by law, you may not copy, sell, rent, distribute, or create derivative works from them without written permission.
8. Service Changes and Interruptions
We may update, suspend, or modify the service to improve features, security, compliance, or operations. Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of material changes. We do not guarantee that the service will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device.
9. Account Termination
You can request account deletion in the app. If you are the only administrator of a care household, you may first need to transfer administrator access or choose to delete the household. We may also restrict or terminate the service if you materially breach these Terms, endanger others or the service's security, or if required by law. Where applicable, we will explain the reason to you.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” KinPaw is not responsible for veterinary judgments, caregiver actions, user entry errors, missed reminders, or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits non-waivable consumer rights, liability for personal injury, or liability arising from willful misconduct or gross negligence where the law does not permit such exclusions or limitations.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app, by email, or by another reasonable method and identify the effective date of the new version. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent again.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are subject to any non-waivable consumer protection laws that apply where you live. If a dispute arises, please first contact us at the email address below to seek an amicable resolution. This section does not limit your right to seek relief from a court or consumer protection authority with jurisdiction.

4. 用户内容与照护协作
您保留对所提交内容的合法权利。为提供同步、提醒、共享、导出和客户支持等功能，您授予 KinPaw 在服务所需范围内存储、处理、复制和展示这些内容的权限。
您应确保有权录入和分享相关宠物、兽医及照护信息。加入同一照护团队的成员可能查看或修改共享内容；请仅邀请您信任的人，并及时管理成员权限。成员基于共享信息采取的行动由相关成员自行负责。
5. 可接受使用
您不得利用服务从事违法活动，不得侵犯他人权益，不得上传恶意代码、干扰或逆向破坏服务，不得未经授权访问他人账户或数据，也不得将 KinPaw 冒充为兽医或医疗服务。
6. 订阅与付费服务
部分功能可能需要付费订阅。通过 Apple App Store 购买时，价格、计费、自动续订、取消及退款由 Apple 的条款和您的商店设置管理。删除 KinPaw 账户不会自动取消 Apple 订阅；您需在 Apple 账户的订阅管理中单独取消。
7. 知识产权
除您的用户内容外，KinPaw 的软件、界面、商标、图形及服务相关材料受知识产权法律保护。未经书面许可，您不得复制、出售、出租、分发或制作其衍生作品，但法律明确允许的情形除外。
8. 服务变更与中断
我们可能为改进功能、安全、合规或运营而更新、暂停或调整服务，并会在合理可行的情况下提前通知重大变化。我们不保证服务始终无错误、不中断或与所有设备兼容。
9. 账户终止
您可以在应用内申请删除账户。若您是某照护家庭的唯一管理员，可能需要先转移管理权限或选择删除该家庭。我们也可在您严重违反协议、危害他人或服务安全、或法律要求时限制或终止服务，并在适用情况下向您说明。
10. 免责声明与责任限制
在适用法律允许的最大范围内，服务按“现状”和“可用”状态提供。KinPaw 不对兽医判断、照护者操作、用户录入错误、提醒遗漏或第三方服务负责。任何责任限制均不排除或限制依法不得排除的消费者权利、人身损害责任或因故意、重大过失产生的责任。
11. 协议更新
我们可能更新本协议。重大变更将通过应用内提示、电子邮件或其他合理方式通知您，并标明新版本的生效日期。若法律要求，我们会重新取得您的同意。

本协议适用您所在地不可排除的消费者保护规定。发生争议时，请先通过下方邮箱联系我们友好协商；本条不限制您依法向有管辖权的法院或消费者保护机构寻求救济。
